New bike smile, and my best mate jumped up to have a look at the new girl. Kudos to my awesome housemate SuperChris, who lifted that 220kg bitch off the ute without a ramp, he's 10 kinds of awesome :D J.

Nice seraph.
You'll have fun fixing it up.

Thought I would place a pic of my SR here, they are a bit rare. Mine is a KZ650D2 SR, I will get around to painting it the correct colour one day.

That's so cool, Dustproof! Yours looks a lot shinier than mine *chuckle*

I just realised I'm one of "those people" now LMAO, I'll be trawlin' people's sheds and wreckin' yards and obsessing about details and spending my weekends meticulously polishing out scratches and tearing the shit out of the poor gal up in the hills while R1 riders compare bling in front of cafes, and they just don't get it... (no offense, birdman :P you're the exception :P :P :P )

Wow I'm so excited about the new ride :D Going for a blat to the coast now I think... J.

If you haven't ridden an SR you will have a great time when you do, they aren't all that fast but handle like a dream for an old bike. Yours looks mostly original, you won't have the hard work of finding out what is and isn't supposed to be on it like Indicators etc. There are not so many parts for them here in Oz but Ebay is a wonderful thing, just make sure you know what your buying, there are a few differences between the models.

You will love it AND they are rare.

Thats a great addition to the family Seraph !!! nice pick-up .....

I have a workshop manual for a 1981 CSR 650 - they had a real 'stepped' seat (almost the old king/queen style), high-rise pull-back handlebars, a 16" rear wheel and nice megaphone 4-2 exhausts.....I'll scan it and post up the picture.....

they are pretty thin on the ground in Oz, the main differences are basically cosmetic - most of the cycle parts can be interchanged with normal 650's.

You'll have heaps of fun on that baby when its up and running - they are a great fun bike, easy to ride and can still be pedalled along might fast if you have the notion......Mick C and myself had a great old strop the other day on a local 'Old Dungers' ride......
