Z750

Postby KLR » Thu Dec 09, 2004 6:19 am

Seems the ol Z750 is a good thing they are selling 4 to 1 next to the Z1000, it is also the most popular selling model in the Kwaka line up currently followed by a close second which is the majestic ZX10.

It also seems that Midtown Kawasaki at Bowen Hills might top the Sales Australia wide, thats what I been told anyway whether this is true remains to be seen.

Thought y'all would like to know that!!! Seems these Z750 riders are onto something good as I am sure they would agree.

Awww, did ya hafta go and blurt it out to the whole world? Cmon mate, thats our secret! We know how good it is and often snigger at the sheer ignorant bliss of others who dismiss it because its not 'the thou'.

Go the Z750 ... It really is an amazing bike for the $$$.
Great value-for-money machine and it's no wonder they're selling like hotcakes I love mine ... can you tell 8)

BTW, Yappa - the Black looks tough, the Red looks great but, as much as I hate to say it, the Blue doesn't do it for me ... and I love blue bikes :?

Green would be nice. I think it looks good on the Z1000.
I would say that Black would be the pick for '05! Absolute bastard to keep clean though :?

Hmm, I see what you mean. At work I use higher res on a bigger monitor and the sig is all on one line, but here at home, pissy small monitor combined with loer res I see that the bloody thing is three lines tall  Sig is now reduced in size 8)

Something still very appealing to me about the Z750...

Ok, seeing as a couple of you guys own them, answer me this:

I have read a couple of test reports (different people, different magazines) mention the heat coming off them. I also get a fair amount of heat off the ER in slow traffic, so would it be any worse, or about the same? ie do you find it uncomfortable, or it is a non-issue (be honest!)??

What???! Heat???!!!! Non issue! WTF?

Dunno what youre talking about and Id love to know who mentioned heat coming off them! Cmon, who was it? There aint no heat - unless youve been riding a pushbike all your life. I thought Id read every Z750 road test there is and Ive never heard of heat being an issue. I can tell you from experience that its not an issue.

Felix, I owned an ER5 and now a Z750 and heat isnt an issue.

Is that the upgrade path for ER5 owners? hehehe...

How did you find going from the ER the Z? Z has a whole bunch more power...

Review in Two Wheels mentioned it, as did ARR...

Yeah, it has more power than the ER5, but I actually went from the ER5 to my ZRX1200 then to the 636 then to my Z750. Id only been riding 2 months when I got the ZRX - but I just kept my wrists low to avoid taking too much throttle and rode with my head and I had no problems at all. 2 months after buying it I was taking second handfuls of throttle down the straight at Eastern Creek.
