Thats why Rob Phillis always called him the claw!! Gotta laugh at Rob..he he he

Pretty weird, actually. Two of the fastest riders of their day were both named Johnson, were both Victorians and both had deformed hands, Andrew and Greg.

Here is another great photo of the Syndicate kawasaki, with bike builder Graeme Carless, and Kenny Blake looking on. Phil will have more than a passing interest in this photo !

As a matter of interest, Andrew Johnson passed away late last week. His funeral will take place at the Boyd Chapel in Springvale Botanical Cemetery, just opposite Sandown Park racecourse on Friday morning. A huge turn-out of motorcyclists is expected to attend. RIP Ajay, the Gary Nixon of Australian road racing. AJ was just 56 years old.

Not much notice, but:
THE SYNDICATE Kawasaki will be on display, and in engine running condition, at Broadford on Saturday 26th March 2016, along with former team principals Barry Spiller and Graeme 'Gyro' Carless, who put the bike together back in the early 80's.

Saw this race at Mallala SA, Croz on board I think. after one heat race Will hagon interviewed him on ABC tv. Will said that bike is squirming around a lot under acceleration.... Croz put his hand on Wills shoulder and said 150 horses up your arse, you would squirm too.
