I'm thinking of cleaning or shining up the side covers on my little 100 while the engine's apart but can't decide whether to get them blasted or painted or just buffed up.......
cheers Danny - not sure if anyone in Radelaide does mass finishing ?
In some other good news about the little S1 triple - my logbook for this bike turned up in todays mail !!!

Have some minor jobs to do to the S1 over this weekend, have got some new carbie kits from a great ebay supplier so will fit these up over the weekend - all new carbie internals, jets, needle & seat etc etc - and also some new fork seals to fit up. Have to fit the Boyer Brandsen ignition kit......and then over the Anzac Day 4-day weekend (well it is when you take Friday off) - I will take the little jigger for a few road runs to make sure everything is ship-shape for the following weekend.......its great when your racebike also has Historic rego !!!

I really don't expect anything much out of this bike at all in the first round - will be happy to see it finish every race even if it is in last place. P4 250 is a pretty competitive class and this bike will need a lot of development to be even remotely competitive.
Having said that - I will still be giving it the biggest pizzling I can on the day
