gpx250 radiator fan

Postby wazza1234 » Mon Mar 06, 2006 6:18 pm

Thought I would take a look and see what the fan on the gpx looks like when its going so Straight after I got home from work (35min ride) I stuck my head under with the engine going and the fan wasnt going! The engine was running at its normal temp which got me wondering, when does a fan on a gpx250 kick in?

Dunno about the GPX, but both my Spada and CB400 switch the fan on at 100 degrees, which is way too high if you ask me....
2 X ZRX1200R 4 X ER6N, GT550, 1988 ZX-10, 4 X GPZ250R, 4 X GPZ900R and GPZ750R :) Yeah I like Kawasakis.

On every kawa i've had, you could *always* hear the fan, even when the engine was idling.

And even if you couldnt hear it, you could feel it on the kneecaps from how much frickin hotter they suddenly became

If it hurts, you aren't doing it right.
