I learnt a lot about paints this week. Basically always go for Enamel and not one of those 'lacquer'. Enamels are cheaper too but they dry a lot longer. Much easier to apply and get tough result

I was going to paint the swingarm on my GPZ then I found it was brushed alloy under all that grime. Scoured it with scourer and banged it back in. Your wheel looks great!

Yeah I was soooo tempted to do that when I sanded it 25%.... took me another hour just to look at it and try to decide if I want to do polished forks (and wheels!!)
