Dumb Question #2 - GPz900

Postby lotii10396 » Wed Sep 25, 2013 11:22 am

I have looked through the genuine Kawasaki service manual and had a examine under the seat - but I'm still stumped as to how I get to the junction box & check the fuses on my *new* 1991 purchase! I'm getting the bike fully serviced this week so could ask the shop but, like Eastoe (Dumb question #1. GPZ750), sometimes you feel asking these questions it is a tad embarrassing..... Also along these lines I am trying to track down a 1991 user's manual (no luck so far), but does anyone have recommendations for other publications regarding servicing/working on the 1991 A8 bike? I recall reading elsewhere that the tightening torques quoted in the genuine service manual can be too high in certain areas (can't remember specifics) so having a second opinion (eg. Haynes?) seems like a good idea.

Thanks in advance.
