Hello guys! Finally completed my 1984 gpz750 unitrak, when one problem appeared.
Motor works excelent standing still (in neutral). revs freelly to 10k, no problem on any revs.
While driving, it becomes harsh and hesitates from 1500rpm to 3000rpm. Even sometimes works on 3cyl. After that (3000rpm plus) it picks up ok, no problems of any kind. Happens in any gear, on same revs.
Tried removing the air filter, nothing changed. Any advice?

There could be a wiring problem to the coils which old Kwakas suffer from and a modification can be done to fix it.

you could but that is unlikely to fix the problem. Sounds electrical to me. Do that ignition coil mod that Bonster has linked to - this helps the ignition coils fire up perfectly every time. Change the plug leads to new ones, replace all the plug caps and use new spark plugs.

Well the website is down and I was about to read it. Any clues? getting a similar stutter on my suzuki, though I figure any port in a storm, any idea when scratching your head.
