Another GPZ 550

Postby dutchy » Fri Jul 20, 2012 8:07 pm

Went and picked up that one from gumtree today. It came with a dodgy headlight fairing. It's held on at the top with some wire and at the bottom with a couple of zip ties. There also seems to be some interesting replacement mirrors taped on.

The bloke I brought it from told me that it turns over and that there is spark. There needs to be a bit more investigation as to the overall condition of the engine but I can already see a heap of bit that are in better knick than the one I brought. Now I've got all the side covers, a better rear fairing and the best bit.......a good frame :D

Yep. Although I am diverging slightly from the original plan. Thinking of doing something a little different. :kuda:

Patience. I've got to pull part the zx7r and sell off the parts first to help boost the funds for the rebuild. :kuda:
