fornt forks

how do u remove the damper rod seat,mine is still in the stachion,does it tap out or screw out,signed not sure.gpz 750 85 model.

It has a bolt down the bottom of the leg. Technically speaking it should be done with a special tool, but, the right size allen key/socket, coupled with a rattle gun works most times. It's just that the damper rod spins unless you have the special tool to retain it. But a rattle gun as said, will usually work it out eventually. HTH :)

long wood broomstick or assemble the fork up, mount it in a vice on a STURDY bench and have a hefty assistant jam their weight into compressing the fork inner.
