replacement oil seal?

Hi, got small oil leak under engine last week. Old thing, new place...When I pulled down fairing , leaking was on crankshaft balanser oilring sealer. Dont know if I got a right technical word , but you got me where`s problem. That sealer is positioned "outside" case so It would be so hard to puled a put a new one. My two problems are, how to precise adjustment bolt for crankshaft balance!? I have manual but dont get what is trick for noiseless timing....what type of noise should gone when I lose or tight sqrew!?
If any of you got some exp please share. Dont have kawas workshop near my town so every operation is $$ and miles away...thanx
