valve clearences on ZZR250

Hi all,

My ZZR 250 was donw to 80 psi in the left cylinder. Turns out there is no clearnce between the rocker and trhe valve :( Time to reset the clearences,


Its a 2001 ZZR 250. does anyone know what the correct valve clearences are ?

sorry if this has been asked before but nothing came up in seach.

from memory the intake should be 0.08mm (0.06-0.1 being the acceptable range) and exhaust 0.12mm (0.10 to 0.15mm)

Inlet 0.08~0.13mm
Exhaust 0.11~0.16mm

You were that close from memory. :o I wish my memory was that good, both of your solid stats were inside tolerence 8) . I'm a ZZR250 nut and I had to look it up. :oops:

helps to have done clearances more than a handfull of times ;)
