Hi all,

I've had some cheeky bugger from Florida in the US of A who wants me to ride my bike into Madaz in Knoxfield so they can take measurements for a the manufacture of a ZZR-600 high-mount exhaust system.

I'm not that keen, even though they are a fellow ZZR-600 rider. Mainly because it's over two hours/140-odd kilometres away (and just as far back), they want me to leave the bike (and I go where?) while they measure, and (sorry to sound mercenary) there's nothing in it for me except a warm fuzzy feeling  which isn't really going to last four-odd hours in the saddle and a wasted day.

So, if anyone lives out that way and is in the market for a warm-fuzzy feeling and wants to help out a local manufacturer of exhaust systems and a fellow ZZR-600 rider in the Land Of The Free, let me know

thanks...I think.

...umm, Knoxfield is in the outer eastern Melbourne Suburbs. No ocean that I know of inbetween, although it did piss down overnight and I haven't been outside yet...

i took it as some bloke in the USA is on the same forum (a diff forum) as boy wonder here, and said that he really really wants this exhaust. But in order to do that he needs to get it measured up, but he cant do it himself so has been nagging the closest guy he can find.

Who in turn is trying to do the same thing again ;-)

Sorry Mick, it'd only take me half hour less than you. If I lived out that way, wouldn't have a problem probably, but I wouldn't be leavin it there on its own, I'd be beside it, watching the whole time... Sounds a bit dodgy to me.

AND I'd be expecting a fully worked up MADAZ exhaust system fitted for my trouble, of course :P

High mount on a ZZR? That would look sweet!

Yeah, not too bad, something like this I expect (this one's a ZZR-1200):
