92 ZZR Airbox Issue

Hi All!
When I have been doing my checks on my bike the last couple of times I have noticed that the Air Box has popped off the carbs on my bike.
I got the box connected again, it was hard work, and took ages,
But I looked at it over the weekend, and it had come off again!
Has any one else had this issue? and is there a trick to getting it back on?

ahhh ye olde airbox of doom strikes again

for some reason those zzr 250 has a horrible evil nasty way of attaching the airbox to the carbs ... and if u wanna remove the damn thing in 1 piece ya have to remove the rear subframe! most ppl reach for the grinder/hacksaw etc before that

u might find that a set of new airbox rubbers will work better.. is it popping off at the airbox end or the carb end?

I'm thinking that the new rubbers would be a goer,
I've also looked into replacing the airbox with pod filters, but that will involve putting some new jets into the carbs, and Bugger that!
