ZZR 250, 600, 1100 & 1200
Sun Jul 05, 2009 11:11 pm
I want to replace the Camchain on my ZZR 1100.
Has anyone done this Model B4?
Although I can afford to have it done I detest giving money to some greedy Bike shop charging a discusting $110 an hour.
+ I like to do thing's myself
Problem is I don't have any room!!! (single car garage only and full of shit)
Is there an Angel disguised as a KSRC member with the room and knoweldge?
(Blown up Bike thread has hastened me, as it makes a lot of noise now

)

If it includes parts the price aint half bad, if you cant do it yourself. I would also get a few more quotes to see what the average is

Rang him this morning at Service Centre, booked in to drop off Friday.
Pegged him to $350, my parts but he will fix oil leak, do valve clearances and sync carbies for that price
Doing it myself would have been good..........but in an open carport

A mate has his trail bike done there and reckons they are "great".
No bullshit add on's and they are straight talkers
I'll report on workmanship after a reasonable amount of revving the shit out of the old girl

Yes it does sound like a good price for all that, hopefully it will be uneventful.
