Anyone here know if this is available here? Or if it's worth it?
http://www.muzzys.com/ZX998/index.html
My babies done ~70,000km and I'm looking at a rebuild soon to clean her up - And I thought while i'm doing it, might as well beef her up too...
Any ideas/suggestions??
Thanx

The Kawasaki racing team used those and they were'nt very reliable, I believe.
You can get a wiseco 923cc kit from z power for $699 minus KSRC discount...

Does this mean you would have a ZX-10R, or would it only count as a ZX-9.98R?
I think the 923 kit sounds like a better option, and you'd have a ZX-9.23R! How cool would that be...umm, probably only slightly cooler than a ZX-9R I suspect

when my bike starts to need a freshen up i'll prolly stay away from muzzys AND wiseco after a mate had a bad experience with them. kawasaki genuine over size pistons and maybee a little raise in compression and that should do. dont want to loose the bottom end to gain some up top.
lets face it, with the way speeding fines and such are going you wont be able to use it unless its at the track, any bike that can do 125k's in first should be enough.
i would prefer to spend the money on suspension anyway...hmmmm ohlins

properly maintained, read regular oil changes with good quality oil, there is no reason why you shouldnt get over 150K. Tims 88 GPX750R did 208K on the oringinal engine before it lost compression in 1 cyclider due to a receeding valve.
and it was - cough - "ridden as the manufacturer intended" although Tim often forgot about the ol "constant riding in the red zone will harm the engine" mantra. imagine if he had of kept it under the redline not 2K over it.
