Hi, new here.. long time listener first time caller and all that jazz

In the process of purchasing a 97 ZX6 to get back onto two wheels after various licence holiday issuses.

I havn't seen many (if any?) early model ZX6 with seat cowls. Do they exist? If there are some around are they all home/custom made?

If they don't exist, how do the Queensland boys go about getting single seat registration on these bikes?

Thanks

Leon

Decoy: Qld Rego is half price if the bike is only registered for single seat as CTP is cut in half.

So remove pillion pegs and seat and you can have it registered as single seat and your registration costs are half the price every year.

ZX-10R_04: Have you, or anyone else ordered from AMC? Those cowls look the goods, and at ~200 it will basically cancel itself out in the first year of rego.

Pontikat: Thanks for the welcome mate, will be good to be back on two wheels. This will be my first Kawasaki after owning 2 hondas (CBR250R and CBR250RR), a yamaha (2002 R6) and a suzuki (97 TU250X)

Good luck with the seat cowl Leon, I just single seat rego'd the "flying flatspot" bought a pair of seats from Ebay & pop rivetted the holes from the passenger footpegs up. Its around $250 a year.
