Standard 7R Sprocket sizes?

Does anyone know the standard number of teeth on the 96 7R sprockets? The one on the back ATM has 43 teeth, but I do not know if this is the standard gearing. I only get to the top of 5th at QR so could afford to use lower gearing, and when I can afford it I want to go to a 520 pitch chain.

ummm
had a look in the service manual
its not listed for yours

the manual for the J and K models shows 45 teeth as standard on the rear

so I rang my friendly dealer..they said 43T is standard on yours
and I went to Buykawasaki.com..it also sez 43T is standard
so I guess 43 it is

hth

cheers

How much difference to speed and acceleration has it made?

Basically I want to gear it down to the point that top gear has the same final ratio as 5th does now. So that I can get it cranked in top at QR, as that is the biggest straight the 7 is ever likey to see.

I had 1 down on the front (close to 3 up on the rear) and that was enough to redline in 6th at Eastern Creek straight. I'd suggest you could probly go 1 down on the front and 1 or 2 up on the rear for QR as its not as long.... :?:
