Saw one in the flesh at PI. I reckon they’re awesome. If I wanted a tourer it’d be it

Hiding behind the stairs?

What's with the green thing in the foreground though? Very nice.

At first I thought the idea of them was a bit silly, but then a saw one, sat on it and rode a H2. If I had the money, one would be sitting in my shed. They are my new dream bike.

I'll be riding one for two weeks over Italy, France, Germany, Austria and Switzerland :kuda:

Here are some reactions of riders in the states : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ehqSOiiWG9o&t=90s

Indications are that I may like it

After doing 25,000 ks on mine be sure one tinny lack of respect on this bike and it will wipe u out.Just when u think yep I got this that's when shit may happen.
The later models have been toned down from the original, suspension up graded and anti wheely control fitted, just be more careful on the first model it is the brute of the bunch.

Thanks Mal, great advice, intend to be respectful. Not sure which year model is the one I'll have, assume it will be a late model.

Is yours the SE version? Couple of questions, if I may:

Taking a gps with me and have two different size cradles to latch onto the handle bar, but of what I can see there is no room on there to fit it, is that right?

If that is correct, then the next alternative would be to take a magnetic tank-bag with a clear window. Would that work, or is the tank stainless or plastic?

Thanks, Pete

Pete no mine is a 2014/15 H2 it has a steel tank and nope no room on the bars. The SE has totally different bars much more upright so more chance there will be more room , also has different tune and supercharger set up so it will still kick ass but all reports are it is a lot more suttle then the first H2. Have fun ;)

i bought a little pasty type of thing that slides down the hole in your steering head, you tighten it with an allen key and as it has a ball that suits a ram mount on top , you just use a ram mount to mount the GPS.

easy peasy and looks the horn.

cannot post photos cause i at work an bike at home.

Hey guys,

Enjoyed the ride on board the H2 SX SE, up and down countless mountains. Was respectful enough toward its enormous power to survive the experience. While I'm happy with the fact that I've had this experience, if I was to do another tour, I'd be inclined to do it on a Z900, which has FUN written all over it for the hill climbs and descents.
