Bike wreckers

How many good wreckers out there? I've been to both Hornsby and Silverwater shop.

Is there any others around the Sydney area.

I'm chasing a new mirror / arm for my 2010 ZX10R, the driver's side mirror has got a really bad hazing around the boarder and to get a completely new arm seem's a bit of a waste.

Also if any one has ever pulled the mirror assembly apart a how to would be awsome

Cheers

It is a free service - you put in what you're after and they will reply

Except that half the replies will just say, "Phone us. We may be able to help." And then they have nothing you want anyway.
Still worth a try though. You could get lucky.

Have you put a wanted thread on here? Often guys will have Mirrors sitting in the garage from track bike builds.

Yep the email's are just starting to pour through now with sorry nothing ATM will let you know. Maybe some thing will turn up but they are all interstate wreckers.

Sydney motorcycle wreckers moved there from Euston Road about a year ago as their old building had been demolished for units.

Actually when I was after bits for the ZX10 tracky Victorian Motorcycle Wreckers (Keith Braddock) were really good. I got some bits from them delivered almost as cheap as I could get them out of the US on Ebay. Number is 03 9457 1733

Have you tried US Ebay though? A mirror won't cost much in freight. Again I had bits mailed for the tracky including triple clamps etc and it was pretty reasonable. The advantage is that there are so many bits available in the US (so long as it's the same bit re US regulations etc)

Yeah i have been looking around for awhile now, but i thought i might run it pass a couple of people here first see whats out there.

Seens a little more tricky finding bits n piece's for the bike compared to the car.

cheers
