GTR1400 inner pannier bags

I've sold my ZX14 now, riding a Diavel and a Tiger1050 theses days.
But, I'm doing a 2week Oz Alps European Alps Tour in July (taking the Trouble 'n Strife as a pillion too), and I'll be riding a GTR1400 over there.
A friend of mine said I should really get a set of pannier inner bags to make it easier to load and unload the bike.
The bike will have panniers and a top box.
Has anyone got any thoughts on this? Also, thinking about a magnetic tank bag too. I imagine the GTR has a metal tank???
Any thoughts and suggestions are most welcome.
