Zx10R 2012 Quickshifter

Hi All,

Just purchased a 2012 Zx10R and have just started upgrading a few components.

It's a weekend ride with the goal of getting out onto the track.

Recently purchased a Akrapovic titanium 3/4 system and a bazzaz fuel tuner.

Looking to buy a quickshifter, can anyone recommend a decent one that is straight forward to install ?

I'm after something that cuts ignition rather than fuel, I love the sound of the BMW S1000 quickshifter, would this be the same on the Zx10, the loud cracks/pops when shifting ?

Come to mind. I know there plenty of others but these 2 seem to get the best reviews.

I am going to install the HM one because I got an awesome price on it cheaper then the translogic.

Anyone tried the Annitori ? I've heard this is a decent unit and cuts ignition.

I'd love my bike to crack on the shift like my mates s1000, I'd much rather quality/function over the novelty of the sound, but it does sound bloody tuff haha so I would love it to do it.

I have used the Annitori for years now.. in fact they used my bike as a test bike.. I took a heap of pics for the company for the install on the 2011 ZX10 when they first came out, and it has been the best mod I have done.. I have one on the race bike and the road bike... awesome piece of electronics fro the price, never had a problem... easy fit and set up.. definitely worth a second or more on a fast track like the island.. raced with it and never a problem...

Hey Man,

I am with Macca I put the Annitori on the Gen 4 and it works a charm !!, If you do go for it there are a couple of really good installation guides floating around on ZX-10r.net. In Particular mounting the control unit in the middle of the airbox so you can get at it without taking the bike apart. Macca probably has a good guide to !
