Hi peeps,if I put a 3/4 system on the Gumby, I keep hearing that the cable must be removed?? What does that cable do and what are the pros/ cons in doing it??

The servo cable operates the servo
MY understanding (happy to be corrected) is if you are replacing the part of the exhaust that has the valve in it then you don't need the servo cable anymore, you'll still need the servo though, or else you'll get faults, the other option is to replace the servo with a servo buddy.

Dunno if gumby the same I needed the little metal thingy that you screw onto your servo motor which limits the rotation of the servo on startup so that the ECU doesn't freak out, think someting has failed, and flash a warning to you on the dash?

Yep you'll get a warning light on the dash without a servo buddy. If you can live with the light it's no biggy though.
