2013 ZX14R Exhaust change.

Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone who has a new or newish ZX14R who has put some slip on exhausts could share with me what they've got or how it worked out for you.
I know this is a massive topic, but i dont seem to be able to find much local info on what I'm looking for. Put simply I just want to take off the standard mufflers and put on two new mufflers to make the bike sound like it should and maybe go a bit better, without the hastle of computer map changes or cat issues or additional electronics. I like the look of the Leo Vince, Two Brothers, or Graves slip ons. If I'm being naive I apologize in advance.

This what I did, no regrets!
I have since installed Akrapovic headers & had the ECU remapped to suit.

So what did you get?
I bought a new ZX14R last week (traded my 9R), and bought a set of Two Brothers carbon slip-ons off eBay last night. A little worried that they're going to be too loud… Look good though.

Edit: Now I read I can get add on noise suppressors for these. All good, apart from the add on cost.

Go slip on. You'll get a bit of burble on decel but it adds to the character.
They don't need to be mapped for just cans.
The 2 Bro's are a nice bit of gear .
I went with the M4 's and their loud.... But good.

Two Bros with a DNA air filter and PC111 with custom map on mine. Two Bros are the best in my opinion.
07 ZX14 - How fast ?? As fast as i want to go !!

Fitted the Two Bros slip ons last week. M2 Black Series carbons. Very easy to fit & soooo much lighter & smaller. And louder. I fitted the P1 3-4db noise reducing tips too but I'm guessing that this 3-4db reduction only really happens at max load/rpm. A 3db reduction should mean half the noise. They're a bit noisy even when cruising. Maybe they'll carbon up a bit & quieten down…? I've since ordered the P1X tips 7-8db tips. BTW I've been used to a Kerker straight through slip on with my ZX9R for the past 13 years. Quality looks first class however and bike still runs fine. At least up to the 4000rpm I'm still restricted to :(

What's the consensus here with slip-ons. Worth tuning with something like a Power Commander or no real benefit?

And yes Mr z900/zx9, I do feel bad about trading the 9R. It's been an awesome do it all bike for me for a long time & was still in great condition when I traded it. I've got some spare 9R bits left if anyone wants them. OEM titanium muffler, factory workshop manual, new set of F&R pads, OEM chain guard, fuel tap etc. I may post this elsewhere.

I wouldn't worry about the PC V for cans alone.
The Woolich Racing Interface that lets you hack the Mitsi ECU is a better option for these if you plan on modding it or just want to access the standard setup and tweak it.
You then have the option to change a lot of the factory settings if need be with out the head fuck of a piggy back setup.

Twin Yoshi's worked for me. Cheaper option, 2 weigh less than one of the standard, opened the breathing and revs below 4k up and no remap etc. Sounded good but not loud enough to scare that f%&*ing kangaroo out of the way.
