Hi everyone just wandering if anyone has wacked a quick shift to a 2012 10R?
just need to know if it needs more than a power commander V ? Thanks!

Maccarocks had one.
It's in a thread here on his zx10 build up.

But you only need a pc for the dyno jet one.
I had one on my gumby with a pc3.
No ignition module needed

I believe you need ignition module for the dynojet / PK one for zx10r's past the gumby as they have secondary injectors or something.?
It didn't work on Russ's 08 without the module..

I am also looking at the anatori thing. Anyone got any feedback on if it kills the ignition slighly for downshift as well? And if this caused any issues for blipping the throttle while downshifting?

Hi Mickwitchy...!!

I have installed the Annitori Quickshifter on both my 2011 ZX10's and they work perfectly.... Especially the track bike... you think you can do a clutchless change and not lose any momentum.. well when you have the quickshifter fitted, it is so smooth and seamless that you actually continue to acellerate faster each gear change... you will love it, especially when racing and getting away at the start.. (or even at the lights on the road) No problems at all with the down shift... it wont cut the bike out.. I still downshift the same way and blip the throttle when going down, but it is just as smooth and it is best if you have the QS set on the hardest setting....

Some problems that Annitori will let you know about are if you have a habit of resting your toe on the shifter or having your toe touching the shifter getting ready for a change, you will just have to break this habit and become more precise with your changes, as the QS will be thinking that you are trying to change gear and it might jump into gear earlier than you wanted.. or not change at all.. SO basically they are saying to keep your toe away from the shifter until you want to change.. keep the throttle on then touch the lever and BANG it will change with no problems at all. This is not a problem with the actual QS, it's just a bad habit that some riders have and you have to modify your riding slightly to make it all work smoothly. It is perfect and a definite bonus on this bike.... I highly reccomend it...

My first test at the island on the track bike, and I dropped almost 1 second immediately and my top speed was higher.. faster in 2 sectors and this was just from the QS.. as I got better at riding the bike and utilising the QS I am just getting faster...

If you have any trouble fitting it, let me know.. it is very easy to do...

The YK (Yamaha/Kawasaki model) will suit, or even a SH (Suzuki/Honda) but you need to buy a YK loom. Best QS on the market bar none.
Its the better, more adjustable, race shift settable (push or pull) big sister of the Annitori and they designed Annitori and use similar parts.

I dont like the thoughts of the Annitori killing the revs on both up and down shift. Also, the lack of adjustment worries me.

A little pricey but you can get them second hand for resonable money.

Try the Yamaha forums too, loads of lads with R6 race bikes use them and they're the model you need.

Hey Maximus...

I did check into the adjustability of the QS before I went for the Annitori.. and found that 'yes' on some others you can get in there and adjust the 'kill' time for each gear... Now remember that none of us are anywhere near Casey, Lorenzo and the like.. so adjusting the 'kill' time 5 ms or 10ms (and that is milliseconds) I seriously dont think we are going to notice it for the extra money you pay.

So the Annitori is set at 60 milliseconds for each change... it works perfectly on the road bike around the town, getting away from the lights is like slicing a hot knife through butter (or margarine!!) it work fine at 3 - 4ooorpm easy, and on the track when the bike is screaming at higher revs it feels even better... I am definitely much faster on the track using the QS... but if you have the dollars to spend, go for the more expensive one.. I am just saying in my opinion, my experience with it and for the money I spent, I love the Annitori...
