looking for some rotors

So it was that time of the year again where i wash my bike, and i noticed that the front rotors have a pretty decent lip on them. Dont have any sort of measuring device for it, but it just doesnt feel right. That and the need for new pads, the lever is hitting the bar if i really press it down, she isnt what she used to be basically.

Considering i have the do the pads anyway, i thought about getting new rotors. Not anything fancy, just after like for like (or close to) but i dont want to pay OEM price.
Any suggestions as to where to shop and what to look for/stay away from?

Pads i think i will be sorted on, i might give a shout out to superbike supply guys

btw this is for the 05 636.

$200 landed is the cheapest set of discs I could find when I got mine.
Quality is fine. However I didn't use that particular supplier and opted for the other style disc.
Make sure they confirm all measurements in the add.Ask them if they have stock for shipment so they can physically check and confirm measurements.
A lot of these places don't have stock on hand and order direct from a supplier who then ship them, this is where things go wrong.
I know this because I was supplied the WRONG discs.........TWICE... ..

hth... ;)

I did get stuck with these though viewtopic.php?f=17&t=39252 cause it was going to cost me $70 to send em back

Yep cant wait to get the revamped track bike on the track, motor with 130,000 less ks on it,new rotors and pads, new gearing set up 1 down on front 2 up on the rear ,new fork oil and seals. This i reckon will certainly be faster at broady once i get the hang of the gear ratio changes and what gears suit were. The old one was just 3rd and 4th im sure that this will no longer be the case ;)

Mal,
I too am a big believer of, you get what you pay for, and the quality of certain things that come from places like China/Hong Kong aren't often up to a high standard, but the quality of the discs I purchased seem to be more than acceptable.I've seen plenty of bikes/trackbikes using them with no issues.Which is why I felt comfortable enough to use a cheaper option on this occasion.
Using the best $$$ can buy is always desirable, however not always achievable.

Have you tried Bike Gear Warehouse. I got my Galfers for the ZRX from there fairly reasonably priced
