Hi All,

Just trying to get up to speed on this forum as i am only new. Have had a few searches for PC-V Maps on the 2012 10r but cant really find exactly what i am after.
I have just ordered the bike and an Akro slip on with Link pipe PC-V with the 02 optimizer and was planning to use the supplied map from power commander that suits this setup.

Question is ? i assume this will be for the American Model ? looking at there power curves they seem to rev out to 13'500 and i think the US models are limited to 12'000 for noise so not sure if it is the Euro model or US ?

I will do the install myself and see how it goes however will probably want to get it tuned properly with a custom map but not sure where to take it ? I live in Melbourne so any recommendations of a GOOD tuner would be great !! There are a lot of shonky shops around that claim all kinds of crap as i had experienced on my 98 7r which i ended up mastering myself.

If anyone is running this set up would be good to hear your thoughts or see what ends up being different from the PC map of their www.

Shags !!

If it has a "02 optimizer" which presumably is a wideband 02 sensor it shouldn't really need a dyno; its constantly adjusting AFR (air fuel ratio) to changing road conditions via a feedback loop aka "autotune".

It may not give every last .1 of a pony that you could get from a custom power run dyno tune; as auto tune is geared at keeping the motor safe.

Perhaps what you should be looking for is feedback relating to the 02 optimiser from other owners who may be using it on the PCV. If not many here, search the US kwaka forums.

KMA does not resell the US variant of the zx10r here, we have the euro variant.

US base maps wouldn't be great to start with (fueling issue), source euro base map and then go from there.

Thanks for the info so far guys,

blackster, the O2 optimizer is different than auto tune and controls the closed loop section of the bike which according to power commanders installation instructions for this bike only controls 4-6th gear and works from 500rpm to 7500 from 0% to 20% throttle. You can grab the instructions from there site if your interested. They also recommend going putting it into Gear advance mode because of this.

Would love to hear from anyone with a similar setup to see what you ended up with Map Wise..

I'll give your mates in Boronia a call also bro, i live in Williamstown so mornington is a bit of a trip but if it is worth it i dont mind i will take a ride down there.
