How do i adjust where the friction point comes in on the clutch (not the span of the lever) mine is less than a finger width from the bar so each stop light i have use 4 fingers and pull the clutch right to bar to get neutral or a quick stop with the clutch in if not right against the bar the bike creeps a lot....

Either the big serrated adjuster going into lever mount - wind it out.
Or at the clutch cover theres an adjusting nut and lock nut on the cable down there... you need to adjust it to pull the clutch rod a little more.

Adjuster at lever just alters the free play in the lever, not actually where the clutch engages, i will try the other end..
Cheers
