Did the deal this morning at $15,750 on the road, picking up my new green '07 10 next Saturday - I'm so damn excited I can barely sit still :D

Cheers, and goodwill to all LOL
Brian

Congrats Brian... I'll be interested to read your comparison between it and your last bike.. :-)
You may find the extra weight a problem.. ;)

The extra weight on me perhaps  but sitting on the bike today I thought it has a very similar kind of feel to the old ZXR. Besides, the weight reduction campaign on the bike will start immediately ; when I bought the ZXR back in '95, as soon as I got it home from the shop I start pulling stuff off. This time, as a symbolic gesture, I'm going to take a couple of spanners along when I pick it up and start removing things before it even leaves the shop. Yes, I know  it's obsessive, but what the hell.

My own personal weight campaign won't start until after Xmas though, too many Coronas are awaiting my attention :)

Cheers (hic!)
Brian

Thanks Neka, I'm pretty happy with it. I suspect there may have been another $1-200 out there if I'd kept shopping, but being able to forgo all the associated hassle and costs in fuel iand time was worth it to me.

Cheers,
Brian

A cunning plan Rob, except it's a bit too soon ; I've ridden a bike literally only once (80km or so on coubtry roads) in the last 3 years, so I think a bit more familiarisation time is in order before I get back to the track. But Jan or Feb looks real good :)

Cheers,
Brian
