Try running them in parallel with your original incandescent indicators. If they work you'll need to get an electronic flasher unit (or tuck the originals under the duck tail)

ussually they flash super quiick... so u need either a set of resistor wired in line, or a new flasher relay.... the flasher relay is abt $50 and plugs straight in..the resistors are a bit different... they need to be run parralel..as Dave says, u can use ur old blinkers as the resistor if u want...
they can be a bugger to get right if ur not clever with electrics (i had a bastard of a time with mine til Plas sorted it out for me)

From bitter experience I can say it's a PITA. If you can buy a flasher for $5 (or $13) it's worth every cent. I spent more than that in potentiometers (variable resistors) trying to get it right and still didn't.

Surely you should realise that ANYTHING you buy from a bike shop is going to be shitloads dearer than the same item at a car shop???

i bought it online.... with the indicators... yea i paid $50..but its a genuine looking flasher relay...takes 3 sec to unplug, and i can convert back easily..no cutting of wires....
