i need help!! i want to put a scotts damper on my 10 but im told u need to trim the key a bit to pass past the damper , i dont have a problem with this but the australian bikes have the microchip in the key. unlike the usa models. any one here know if cutting the key slightly in anyway affects this :?

You can also install the damper the upside down (turned around) or reverse the keyhole. IMO why bother, just get a hyperpro or ohlins or something similar........
