05 ZX6R Blue

Postby KLR » Mon Sep 27, 2004 12:43 pm

Looks as though Kawasaki.com are now officially listing the 05's in their "Ninja" selection of bikes.

I wasnt sure about the look of the bike but have changed my mind after seeing it in blue, Sorry Quarkz but I think this even trumps the 04 Blue.

Hey S10 we should get in contact with Chris at Gold Coast Kawa and organise a try it out session when the bikes finally arrive here in Aus for the KSRC guys.

Hmm it's nice but I think it has it's appearance flaws. Im wondering what the seat height it gonna be and the weight. Apparently it's even lighter than the 04 model. Im gonna have to see what the blue looks like it real life before I deem it prettier than mine Mica :D

Hate to say it but the R6 is the best looking 05 bike so far.
Just my 2cs. Thats not a bad blue though, definately not as nice as Quarkz.

yeah, it is hard your either an underseat exhaust person or an original setup type.

As usual with me it depends on the overall look I suppose, but it looks pretty striking in blue.

And yes still a huge fan of the Blue 04, speaking of Blue 04 the salesman also told me that Kwaka Aust only has 2 left nationwide. Again a salesman told me this so it is open to conjecture. Dont know how many would be available at dealerships.

When I bought mine from Midtown they only had another 2 left after mine but when Andrew delivered it he said that they just got another lot of 30 (I think, give or take) that they had to sell before they got the 05. I thought that was pretty outrageous but don't blame me, I didn't say it!

I agree with you Brett, I think the Yami's have hit a nice style for the 05's. That fully black one is beautiful. Im not too keen on the underseat exhaust, it seems to me Kwaka are being sheeps and following a trend.[/i]

No way, the 05 R6 looks too much like the 03/04, and it too much like the 01/02.

I suspect the picture is of a US specced bike and that the Aus/European versions will have flushies.
