I'm not a huge fan of under seat exhausts, but i still rekon if it's done rite, like 996 & 998 etc, then it can look pretty cool...

The new jap ones don't do it for me... :)

Awesome. Sketch looks very good indeed. A more angular agressive shaped light. Love how the new breed of kwaka's lights go over the front fairing angle.

Prototypes, now heres one i'd definately have!

thats the way the whole motorbike design is going these days. the minute the cbr1000 and the r1 were released there was an after market pipe made to fit under the seat.

i still agree thou, one nice pipe on the side. or even better a twin pipe system (one on either side) but kwaka's dont make a v-twin.

james,

yeh we may have "met" but i thought anyone who has been on KDET would know me, i'm the guy that got gunny his aprilia tuono (by writing off his speed triple) :( missed out on the rest of the trip after having my broken wrist pinned and listening to kopjar whinge about who was he gonna ride with now cause everyone else was to slow :)

i think you went the year after on your zx6 or zrx (see it still is a zx6 thread sort of) and went to the track day with kopjar. that was when you had the conversation with a certain identity that didnt want to know about ita's zrx being stolen..........am i freakin you out now

thank christ, if they do i'll chuck a tantrum.........did i mention how much i dont like twins, real bikes have 4 cylinders ACROSS the frame (unless its a boxer twin, dont mind them.

Yes, its all coming back to me now. You have come up in numerous conversations with numerous people, but for the life of me I cant put a face to your name. Well, we'll have to hook up for a ride soon. I think Kopjar is still getting over the ride back from P.I with me. The poor bloke, he spent as much time parked on the side of the road waiting for me to catch up as he did riding! When you next see him, ask him if he has a scar on the back of his neck from a cigarette burn  XXsmoker.gif

The only thing freaking me out now is about 'a certain identity' & Ita's bike! I think I know what youre talking about, but Im not sure how you know about it. Im pretty sure the only person I had a quiet word to was Ita - but it seems that I was way off anyway in my Sherlock Holmes like investigating.

BTW - If Kawa released a Z1000/Z750 type of bike with a BIG V-Twin shoe-horned into it - I'll be gettin one!

the worst thing was that crash was my only "road" crash in the last 7 years and i usually ride with guys like kopjar.

dirt bike crashes dont count :)

ita rang me as soon as his bike went AWOL, he has kept me posted on happenings ever since.

you keen for sunday ??

meet @ start of nasho about 0830

Ive got a mate who has just traded his ZRX for a Z1000 who has asked me to go up to Oberon with him tomorrow for a blat, but we havent finalised anything yet. I'll be speaking with him later today. I'll ask him if he's interested in the Nasho instead and if so we'll be there at 8.30.

v-twins have a nice sound to them. duane will agree but then again i've only heard bikes similar to his. my ninja sounds nice but i need something louder and with a bit more rumble.
