I need an "official" (I guess just with some Kwaka logos and stuff around it) specsheet for the 1996 ZX9's (ZX9-B?) for an engineers report.
It needs to -at least- specify the engine torque, brake components, frame design, and weight. A photo of the naked frame (to determine structural design) would be great too.
jpbikeboy might need to same thing soon too, so you'd be helping KSRCians in one go
Thanks
James

MATE! That's unreal, thanks.
You don't happen to the exact same (same format) for the ZXR 750 L2 (94) do you?
That would be awesome for the comparison.
Thanks again

Yeah, been looking around, even kwaka.com doesn't list an official specsheet for the L models, web zxr is good but probably wouldn't stand up in court, haha.
I have the specs on paper so I'll just photocopy them.
Would've been better if they were the same format is all.
Thanks ya'll

I mean IF I end up in court for a crash and the engineer who approved the modified bike has to testify to the bike roadworthiness. That's how you get an engineers certificate... or I suppose you could pay a little bit more for some leniency (;)) but I can't afford that, haha.
Thanks heaps Smitty:D

nup
and mina, you obviously did not read this thread
coz Mike had already posted that link
the ZXR750L info is not on BuyKawasaki
which is why I got it out of the service manual
(after I found it

)

Yep... but they still don't specify the diameter of the front rotors.
I've got the official kwaka media package pamphlet thing for the L models though, which doesn't list the diameter in the spec chart, but does state it in a few of the blurbs, like "perfectly predictable stopping power from dual semi-floating 320mm front discs". So hopefuly a photocopy of that will be enough to cover the brakes.
I have the Clymers manual too so I'm sure there's something in there.
Only hurdle I see is the 9's engine cradle, but I don't imagine it is a stressed member. Seems like a bad design if it is.
Thanks for everyone's help, I dare say I should have enough information to get the certificate now.
