Hey mate, I de-catted my 06 zx10r a few weeks ago, just removed the pipe and used a big screw driver and a hammer working around the edge of the honey comb till it fell out. Took maybe an hour or so start to finish, easy as, just need a bit of patience :kuda: .
How did you go with the TRE installation? What do you think?

Put the TRE in on Saturday, was fairly simple and I did the Quick shifter at the same time, I will need to get it Dynoed now so am thinking I should get rid of the Cat and put a PC111 on before I do that :? ... it's only money
I'm hoping to have the bike at the track on July 28th so will test it all then 8)

So there were no tricky bits in the 'zorst you had to work around? just bash away with a hammer and "chisel"?

I bashed mine out with a screw driver.
Easy as. Stopped it burning the fairings too.

I was going to bash it out like Wattie said. The link pipes are about $160 I think
