Hey, to remove the exhaust/ blinker mount on a '06 636 does the whole tail section have to be removed to get the the plastic plugs???

to remove them you have to take the tail sectoin off.....to get to the plugs and bolts holding the mounts on

remove the seat fairings then take the seat/s off. push the center of the 3 plastic clips in under the left side of the tail section. remove the 6 bolts holding the tail piece on and pull the right side near where the riders seat is to get the dowel out of the rubber grommet that is there carefully manipulate the tail section to get it off the subframe and disconnect the tail light. installation is reversal and sorry if i haven worded it right :P
