fitting steering damper to '06 zx6r

Cwidova, I'm sorry that this thread you started so innocently has ended up like this ... it's usual KSRC fare for them to end up off topic, but not normally like this. I'm also sorry if you interpreted by initial response as anything but helpful, it certainly wasn't intended as a shot at you, and given that I spent sometime this weekend fitting a steering dampener to an earlier model 6r, and do quite a bit of work on my wife's '06 6r and seriously looked at these eBay dampeners before deciding against them and buying an Ohlins (as you ended up doing) I thought I could give you some productive advice about things like mounting points, etc. Again, if you interpreted that as me having a go at you or criticising your machine then I apologise unreservedly.

nah it all good......i did find something that looked like i could mount it to but it would've fouled with the fairing......thaks again for the help any is appreciated
