zx2r fuel filter?

do we have one coz i cant seen to see it and ive looked at the service manual and it doesnt say anything.
does anyone know where it is? it would help alot

There may be one in the tank, there may not be one at all, if you wish to have one, you can pick up in-line fuel filters at most good bike shops for $5 bucks, just cut the fuel line and put it in!

Mine had brass filters in the tank attached to the fuel tap. They kept clogging up cause of crap in the tank so took them off and fitted an inline filter as Duane described. As long as you don't have rubbish in the tank I think the standard filters are fine.
19,500 before the cut out. Can you hear me SCREEEEEEEAM!!!!!!!!!

the zx2r has a fuel filter in the fuel tap itself.

yeah, its in the fuel tap, i opened mine up recently.
but my mechanic told me to get an inline fuel filter anyway,
gonna pick one up later :P
