anyone know if its worth it to put in or even if you can get a power commander for a 1998 zx7r with a hindle pipe. Also my clutch is weak, when i go to disengage it it doesnt go till its almost fully out. i like to know when my clutch is fully out and its making me mad. i know that its not like older bikes its got that hydrolic stuff but is there any way to adjust it(other than circluar adjustment on lever) and if so how? thanx guys

You can't fit a powere commander they are for fuel injected bikes. Try a jet kit.
Try bleeding the fluid in the clutch, you could have some air in there or the fluid could be stuffed..

As above, plus dont worry about replacing your aircleaner with an aftermarket one, if you pull the wire mesh off they flow as much as a K&N (and are better made !!).
If you DO go to a Dyno to tune the jet kit be prepared to go insane pulling the airbox etc. out every time to get to the carbs and jets... TOP fun

I'll agree what they both said. Get yourself an ignition advanced timing rotor. You'll probably have to run premium fuel but its well worth it.

No power commander for carburatored bikes no worries.
Try installing "flow-commander" it's a manual version for carburators.
Installed it to my zx9 B1 and C1 it helps to control fuel/air mixture for some additional power and sorting flat spots to your existing jet kit.
As for the clutch check the hydraulic pump seals near the engine maybe it leaks there and it's better to change the original hydraulic line to a steel-braided line (custom made mine for the B1).Also check the engine clutch push rod for worn seals and a bent rod.
Try checking for worn clutch plates (friction and steel plates) also.
Hope this info helps.
