ZXR 250 94 - can I get these cheaper somewhere

Postby v8-vh » Thu Apr 20, 2006 12:44 am

Hey everyone, I got a quick list of parts for the bike
I really want to find these parts somewhere else, for cheaper
I am not worried about paint, just as long as they are in repariable, repaintable condition
but i will be fussy about the headlight
here goes.

Top fairing $330
new screen with tint $100 (seems reasonable)
L & R hand fairing $220 each !
Headlight $110 (again seems reasonable but i think its second hand)
Front guard $110
indicators $22 each (fair enough)
headlight/guage bracket $88
tail light fairing $33

I have the mirrors.

kind of ALOT wen you add it all up
Im looking at getting these parts in the next few weeks, so if anyone has one or more of these parts, in the south brisbane area, Id be glad to take them off your hands for a decent price
note, these prices are from a wrecker.. and i dont trust many wreckers :D
thanks

there's a mob in lilydale.
can't for the life of me remember what they're called, but they're listed with bikepoint. do a yellow pages search.

but dude,
220 each for fairings is very very very cheap.
you could be looking at 350-450 for plastics usually.
yeah it adds up, but broken bikes are expensive to repair.
There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. Some kind of high powered mutant never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

How shattered are the originals?

Possibly a welding/fibreglass job?
