pretty sure the mounting points are different, not to mention the electrics that chaged from 16 bit to 32.

I-K would be more help on this tho

(sheepishly accepts the vote of confidence).

Let's remember Mick C went to fit an E-model gearbox into his C-model and found that the output shaft places the sprocket further out in order to clear the E's fatter rear wheel (6.0" vs the C's 5.5").

That's one problem... the top engine mounts *might* be another; they might've gone to thicker bolts on the E to give the frame more stiffness.

The zorst will definitely be a problem; the E-model went to wider headers, with wider exhaust port exits, so the C-model pipe won't fit.

As for the 'letrics... I think so long as a C-model ignition rotor (with 4 trigger points) was substituted for the E-model one (16 triggers), the existing ECU and ignition system should be able to cope.

thankyou for your replys. it sounds like it might not be a straight bolt in affair.... i sure am glad that i got the wiring loom now!

i know the rear mount became rubber, but i idint know about the thicker front mounts. and the exhaust... bugger. i've got pipemaster headers on my 'C' engine that just seem to work soooo well. never mind.

thanks for your help guys.
