Whats this thing?

Hey guys installed steel braided brake lines (2010 ZX6R) the other week and managed to find this thing dangling down after we removed the original lines. We zipped tied it out of the way and forgot about it as we went through the fun process of bleeding the lines
As far as I can tell its not connected to the headlights or indicators as everything is working fine. Can anyone tell me where its supposed to be hooked up and stored or if its actually supposed to be plugged in to something
It looks like a mini usb cable that you could connect a laptop to or something from what I can gather.

I dont remember seeing anything like this when I stripped the tracky down for raceglass and braided lines etc... Something for a PC?

I think its a GPS charger, I remember the previous owner had one set up. Cheers guys. I'll take a bit of time on the weekend and try follow it fireyrob said just to be sure ... I'll be sure to let you know if Strika was actually on the money lol
