97 ZX6R - hell of a time finding aftermarket parts

Hey all,

I am having a hell of a time finding aftermarket parts for my bike.
its a 97 ZX6R.
Everytime I check on a mfg website the parts available are for 98 and up.
Body parts, rear sets, engine parts, exhaust, everything.

I was wondering what was interchangeable from the 97 to the 98,
I was told that the rear subframe is the same so the rear tail can be switched over.
What about the frame itself?
I want a set of sliders, but the only company making them for my bike is R&G Racing out of the UK and its a pricey kit cause the coolant tank has to be relocated. If I relocate the coolant tank myself, can I use a set of sliders from a newer ZX6R?

Also stuff like steering stabilizers, exhaust headers and so on.
Any help or pointers as to what from the 98 fits on my 97 would be great

i love these rear sets fully adjustable and look good - they are the same as the zx7r ones

with your exhaust you can basically get a can off anything(ebay for $300 i think got me a akra titanium race pipe) and motorcycle exhaust pros in moss st will make it fit, as for headers off other bikes im not sure.

if ur after a BMC filter try mick hone he used to wholesale these and had some old stock i got one sent to me for half the price they were selling them in the shops.

got a set of racers adge race glass off ebay for $120

ebay is ur friend
