well cause no one had a clue i used my initiative and tried and tried and then presto worked out how to get the lock barrel out !@!#!
step one: pull your tank cap apart so it looks like this:
see the thing in the middle get a pair of pliars and pull it out:
it has a seal on it so u cant get it out without using something to pull at it.
once that is out u will see this:
k now, see the little gold coloured tab on the lock barrel, i used a pin to stick down there and push it in (its spring loaded) and push the barrel down and it will slide out... TOO EASY!
This frustrated the hell out of me and i had no idea how i was going to get this out short of taking it to someone who would charge me big money, i hope this helps someone out. Why would u need to do this u ask ? cause your tank cap sticks out and can get rashed, god knows how your bike gets on the angle from a simple low side at the track but hey it can lol. (i think it was when it went off the edge of the track onto the grass .. only explanation i can think of.)
