Quote from the story "To any ZX10 riders out there who see one of these machines on the road I have only one piece of advise “Don’t take it on unless you like the feeling of dust up your nose.”

Dont you just LOVE these comments, one would ASSUME he rode a 10 as well (but REALLY I wonder???)

Yeah, yet another report I read, states that as a Hyper tourer it handles mint, but if you are used to sports bike handling then no, it's still a barge. This report said that it had to be pushed gently, and smoothly, with special consideration to line before entering the turn as once in it does wan't to change line. So it's still long and stable. The other issue it said it had was ground clearance.

Still as a Hyper tourer it appears to be the business, with bottom, mid and top end power surpising it's competitors, as well as accelleration, brakes, steering being far superior. They'll probably pick on it for too sporty a ride position or some other crap, but all in all it appears to be a real roads weapon on paper and from most reports.

Now for a ZX10 chassis, with a ZX14 motor!!! mmmmmmmm

Just bought a zx14

I recently bought a zx14 after having had my zx12 since 2000. The 12 has 160,000 kms on it and still going strong. The zx14 is a totally different animal. Only had it a short time but have 6000kms on it and feel it is more like a Hayabusa than the 12 is. Took the secondary butterflies out the day I got it made for better power at 3500 rpm. Lowered the front sprocket to 16 teeth. It is way over geared at 17 teeth maybe to get through ADR? Have power commander and K and N filter coming also high routed pipe from Ti Force in Japan. Heaps of goodies coming out now for them...can't wait... 8)

Che, is your ZX14 black? I saw one heading down King George's Rd on Sunday afternoon (had a pillion as well).

Yes Colette
