05 636 rear shock in an 03 ?

does anyone know if this fits ? ?

the standard shock is a bit stiff for me, even if i wind it all the way out im sure it wont let me get the right sag

so as far as i know .. the 05 one is a little softer ? they are cheap as shit on ebay so i was going to give one a go if it fits .. whats it cost to get a softer spring put in shock normally ? (if this idea fails)

not a straight swap, but don't think the modification needed is a lot

spend the money on fixing what you got....
