Joe Rocket Leathers

Postby YAPPA » Wed May 17, 2006 4:13 pm

Finally a good news story, I bought a joe rocket gpx suit about sept. last year & have found it to be a good suit, but I took it back on satdy cause the stitching on the collar was coming undone & the press stud on the pants kept popping, & no that wasn't from my fat guts. Nothing major, the stitching is about 20mm long, I thought they would wipe it over to the local leather guru, quick bit of stitching & a new stud, schweet as, & off I'd go. Then I get a message on monday saying that they might replace the suit, & this morning they rang & said there's a new suit waiting for me to be picked up :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
SO good on you joe rocket for standing behind your warranty, & may you be blessed with all the nookie & endless twisties you an imagine. So many scumbags try to find a loop hole these days, & a big thanks to Rod at Morooka yamaha (can't believe my fingers just typed that word) for sorting it for me.....shameless plug I know but he's always looked after me

I have the same button popping problem on my joe rocket suit, i assumed it was my ever expanding gut.. The zipper next to it broke too, so I took the ring thing off my keys and thats been the zipper ever since :P
Theyre ratty as hell but they have had a hard life and plenty of use since I bought them last year.
Oh and the JOE ROCKET stitched into the side now says "JO OCKE", but that's due to extraneous use, not a manufacturing defect.
