Knee Sliders Question

Do the
majority of kneesliders have the rough velcro on the slider?
My leathers have the fluffy soft stuff on the knees, and the rough stuff on the backs on the sliders. Is this the norm for most makes of sliders?
I'm asking 'cos I used to own a set of AXO leathers, and I could swear the rough stuff was on the knees, and the sliders had a soft backing.
I'm after some replacement sliders and I dont want get them and find they wont stick.
Cheers
Alex

My 2 types of lethers, one peice & pants both have the rough velcro on the sliders. Not that they are ever going to need replacing.

Thanks, but I'll get a few more opinions before I hit the 'order' button.
I can only find 2 websites in Aus that sell replacement sliders, anyone know of other sites? Or where I can get some?

7th,
I'm pretty sure its a standard that the "hooks" are on the Slider and the "Loops" are on the leathers.

That would make sense, coz if the hooks were on the leathers then they'd pick up every bit of dust, fluff, seed etc you came into contact with and they'd hold on to it for dear life, so when you weren't wearing the sliders your knees would end up looking like the filter of a vaccuum cleaner.
Just out of interest, my Alpinestars boots have toe scraper thingies (highly technical terminology) and once again soft velcro is on the boot, hook part of the velcro is on the detachable bit. Seems to be the standard way of doing things.

My Dainese leathers are soft on the leathers, hooks on the sliders.
My Old A* boots, soft on the boots, hard / hooks on the removeable stuff.

Acoording to the Brisbane two wheels dictionary ....
Noun: A slider, any bike over 590cc that Hemiduty has owned, when the inevitable happens & "Gravity overtakes Gusto" Pronounced SCREECHBANGTHUD.
Adverb: A slider is the Bit that fell off Hemi's leathers when he was climbing out of the sandpit at Queensland Raceway.

Most leather suits do come with loop velcro on them so the majority of sliders come with 'hook' backings.
Axo leathers are different and for whatever reason decided to release them with 'hook' velcro making most sliders incompatible.
WIZ, however do make the reversed slider which comes with loop on the backing instead of the more regular 'hook'.
They come in all the regular colours and designs that WIZ manufacture but will need to be specially ordered.
HTH.
