Very comfy particularly as it caters for those of us who wear spectacles, rather than make spectacles of themselves :D

Is it actual carbon fibre wrap or some other type of covering made to look like it ?
Nice by the way Steve.

8)
Its real carbon fibre.
Shell is made from a Carbon Composite so its not quite just a carbon wrap

With the change in laws in QLD I took a punt and bought one of these

Also got an Arai Vector

The Arai is getting on a bit bit is still very comfortable and imo if you have an Arai shaped head you won't get better. The Roof isn't as comfortable but having the flexibility of the flip front is useful at the servo etc. Noise wise they are almost the same but I would say the Arai is a little noisier than it used to be given it's 7 years old. Holding off on buying a new helmet until i buy my new bike, I may get the Arai with the peak, the adv version whatever that is.

Just wondering if you guys are replacing helmets as per the stated 'Use By' date ?

If you clean your helmets from human contaminants I believe these can surpass the use by date.

What you reckon boys ?

I do... that's why I only use one of my helmets at the moment and even that one is about to be retired.

One retired and one current. I have had a few in between these but all went for a slide down the track so no point keeping them.

The FM was a great helmet just got a little long in the tooth. The Shoei is ok but a little noisy, I have had better but figured no point getting a new one just yet as it too will no doubt go for a slide at some stage.

I hope to retire my Norrick Helmet in one piece. (Not Put it to pavement)

Too beautiful to trash. Would be a shame. I was thinking of getting another soon and just retire it early just to preserve it.

I'll put in on display someday, hopefully.

Kinda glad I purchased that particular model when I needed to. Somehow the lesser models of that year just didn't appeal to me.

Call me fussy.. Yes I am :D

Does yours have replaceable inner cheek pad liner thingy ?

My X-11 has them and a bonus, can be washed and replaced if required.
