Hey Gos, did you take angry pills the other night?

Mine wasn't a lecture mate. Seriously. I was referring to the new breed who think riding high powered motorcycles is a fashion statement to show off, be it their muscles or their plain stupidity.

I get riding around around the neighbourhood in light clad attire but shit, when I see those who commute on a daily basis who think they are impervious to damage makes me cringe. That's all mate.

I could launch into a diatribe about this but I won't. I'm old school too. Been riding for over 25 years(from the age of 18, officially). Not as much as some, but i think this is worth something.

Cheer up. :)

I never take angry pills mate, that is just how I am all the time   not really. Yeh I might have sounded cranky, soz about that - and for the asshats that squid day in day out - yes their time will come eventually for sure. Its always about the odds. Ride long enough in shorts and a T......and the odds are that one day you will cop some gravel rash.

I am very happy today anyway - check the 7/11 track bike thread for details ;)

Most of my build threads (or bike purchases/dodgy deals  ) can be found in the Classic Kawi section :kuda:

Here is the link to the 7/11 Period 5 racebike thread - its got a few years under its belt now .....

Fak mee !! that's alot of reading there Goz.

I'll get back to ya in a couple of years.. lol !

Man you are the man ! I've never been involved in track bikes be it building or racing. I have always been a road warrior and have survived many lives over.

I will ask of your wisdom if the need arises.

Go hard brother !!

If you do ever have an older kwakka - something from the 70's or early 80's - I can help for sure. There are a lot of members here who have raced or built up race bikes from later years - the place has stacks of info and all you need to do is sing out - someone here will know the answer :kuda:

You know something. I would like to do a restoration on a classic 70s Kawasaki someday.

I surely appreciate your offer to help out if I do.

Thanks Goz !
